ready to move on from the past?

You deserve more than just getting by.

Hi, I’m Danielle.

I’m an LPC offering EMDR therapy and intensives for teens & adults in Allen, TX—and online across Texas & Colorado.

Maybe you’ve been pushing through for years—white-knuckling it, trying to manage the anxiety, panic, or anger that comes out of nowhere. Maybe you’ve even learned to cope well enough to get by. But the truth is, getting by isn’t enough anymore. You want change.

Here For You

I believe every person has worth, and every story has meaning. You deserve more than just getting through the day. Real healing means putting the past in its place, leaving you with a steadier, more connected way of moving through your days.

I’ve dedicated my practice to helping people—especially those who feel like therapy hasn’t worked before—experience deep, lasting change. My role is to create a safe space where you feel understood, supported, and challenged in the best ways and help you move forward.

If working harder was going to fix things, it would have worked by now.

You’ve done everything you can to hold it together. It’s time to try something different—something that helps you feel lighter, calmer, and more like yourself again.

My clients often tell me they never thought they could feel so much relief. They describe showing up more fully as themselves and feeling confident in their relationships

How I Work — Real, Lasting Change

I specialize in EMDR and trauma-informed therapy, including EMDR intensives for clients who want focused, accelerated healing.

My work helps clients move beyond coping and into true healing—getting to the source of the patterns, pain, or beliefs that keep them stuck. It’s not about quick fixes or surface-level strategies, but about creating lasting shifts that make daily life feel lighter and more connected.

My approach isn’t about quick fixes or just managing symptoms. It’s about healing.

Over the years, I’ve seen clients who once felt trapped by their past finally find freedom: feeling more confident in themselves, more grounded in their relationships, and more at peace in daily life. I also work with many therapists who trust me to hold space for their own growth and healing.

Therapy That Feels Real, Safe, and Hopeful

Clients tell me I’m warm, approachable, and direct—the kind of therapist who helps you feel both seen and steady. Many of the people I work with are deeply resourceful; they’ve already read the books, listened to the podcasts, and tried to “fix it” on their own. I use humor, practical wisdom, and real-life experience to make therapy feel like a genuine conversation, not another strategy to master. My aim is to create safety and trust so lasting change can take root.

For over 20 years, I’ve worked with teenagers, parents, and families in a variety of settings. Those experiences have given me not only professional insight but also a deep respect for the resilience people carry as they face hard things.

I’m also a mother of three, including through adoption, and I understand firsthand how complex and rewarding parenting can be. Like many of my clients, I’ve also been on the other side—as someone who’s needed support myself. These experiences shape the way I show up in the therapy room: with compassion, practicality, and the belief that no one should have to carry their struggles alone.

Clients often tell me that working with me feels more hopeful and grounded than therapy experiences in the past. They describe feeling deeply understood, supported, and able to connect with themselves in new, meaningful ways—changes that ripple outward into every part of their lives.

Therapy with me

My approach recognizes that both positive and painful moments shape how we see ourselves and the world. In many ways, the past becomes the glasses we wear when looking at the present. When hard experiences aren’t fully processed, they can get “stuck,” linking to other painful memories and keeping old feelings, thoughts, and body responses alive in daily life.

That’s where EMDR comes in. EMDR therapy helps you get unstuck, so those memories lose their hold on your body and mind. Many of the challenges people bring to therapy—anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or that quiet belief that “something’s wrong with me”—can often be traced back to unhealed experiences. By identifying and reprocessing those memories, EMDR helps your brain and body complete their natural healing process, so you can finally move into a different relationship with yourself and the world around you.
